Hi! I’ve been thinking about getting a half sleeve for over three years now. (I’m a 30 yo girl) but it still feels like a huge step. Can you tell me about your experience? Yours is absolutely stunning!!

im going to answer the 2 questions above together. 1st of of all thank you! gathering up the courage to finally do it took a bit of time. i have known for a long time that i wanted tattoos, but its easier said then done. there are so many different things to think about (style, artist, or just what you want to get in general). im a huge baby when it comes to needles, believe it or not i almost passed out when i got my medusa pierced, so i assumed id be horrible at getting tattooed…wrong! its a completely different feeling. after the first few minutes i almost find it relaxing… so if youre concerned about the pain aspect of getting a tattoo, dont! the only thing i wish would have went better with my 1/2 sleeve tattoo expierence would be the fact that i moved half way through finishing it. it has cost me $1,400 so far..and the reason it has cost so much is i had to get my artist in calgary to cancel some of his appointments last minute to fit me in because i found out i was moving a week before i actually moved! then when i got to indiana, i had to find an artist that would work on someone elses piece which was hard. my feather, thankfully, only cost about $100. i guess the main piece of advice would be to think it through, make sure you know exactly what you want.. and after that.. go for it!

i really need to invest in a new camera (mine got stolen), so i cant wake up with some quality photos for once! haha. other than that, last night was pretty fun, although i woke up with the worst headache known to mand kind. blechh.

my weirdest fear is staircases.. especially dark ones. i dont really know why, but ever since i young age ive been terrified of stairs. i have this recurring dream where im falling down stairs and i wake up right before i hit the bottom.
